With the new collection, the Gießen start-up now also protects domestic farm animals.
The young Gießen fashion label “espero” has been able to win another project partner for its concept “animal and species protection with every garment” and has published a new collection. 25% of the surpluses from the sale of the new collection “Respect” are donated to PROVIEH. With this, the label’s fashion for exotic endangered animal species now also protects domestic farm animals with an exclusive series and is actively committed to species-appropriate husbandry.
Since 1973, the non-profit animal welfare association PROVIEH has been committed to species-appropriate animal husbandry and actively opposes industrial animal husbandry. PROVIEH is thus one of the most experienced animal welfare associations for farm animals.
“The new collection “Respect” of the Gießen fashion label “espero” supports exactly this project. 25% of the surpluses from the sale of the collection are donated to the organization PROVIEH and thus flow into education, advice and committee work to achieve animal welfare standards that take into account the species’ own needs of each animal. The collection includes various hoodies, sweatshirts and T-shirts for women and men, all of which can be purchased in the espero online shop. If we want to achieve a change in our human-animal relationship, then this change must take place at all stages. This currently also includes animal husbandry and the improvement of the animal welfare of millions of animals. We are thus taking another important step in order to achieve even more impact with our fashion and to do even more for the protection of animals here” explains founder Tim Weinel.
Since the publication of the online shop in August 2020, more than 1,150 euros have already been raised in donations for various animal and species conservation projects. The average donation share per order is currently around 7 euros. Through the new collection, which customers can find at www.espero-clothing.de, many more donations are now to be added.
