The coronavirus (COVID-19) is a crisis like no other the world has faced in recent decades in terms of its potential economic and social impacts. COVID-19 has hit the poor & vulnerable countries the hardest, threatening decades of development and hard-work.

India is in the throes of a deadly, record-breaking wave of coronavirus infections. More than 200,000 people have died of COVID-19, making India the fourth country to cross that grim fatality count after the United States, Brazil, and Mexico. The government has also reported more than 360,000 cases in the last 24 hours, a new global record, which comes after a five-day streak of the highest single-day increases in new COVID-19 infections of any country.

The surge in the cases has overwhelmed India’s healthcare structure completely, with hospitals scrambling for emergency supplies and oxygen aid. The situation in India is extremely disheartening, and some experts believe that the worst is yet to come with the outbreak showing no signs of slowing down.

A crisis of this magnitude can reorder society in lasting and dramatic ways. But crisis situations also present opportunities: opportunities to help, to adapt, and to work in unison to overcome tragedy.

India was there when we needed them, it’s time we return the favour. Since our inception the crux of our business and growth has been the Indian Ecosystem. Looking at the grim state of the country and its deteriorating ecosystem we believe it’s our duty to step in and give back to the community that has blessed us with numerous opportunities.

Apart from donations across multiple sources, Mainstage Incubator has collaborated with the ambitious COVID Moonshot initiative where we run molecular simulations on our computers when idle to help them find new molecules to test which accelerates the development of a COVID antiviral.

We have created a campaign called “Save_India” where as we speak we have contributed 36 work units for COVID research and vaccine development. (

No one knows exactly what is to come, but let’s align our interests and resources for the greater good. Do visit the COVID Moonshot website where you can donate, share your computer power, or provide valuable expertise to overcome this unimaginable test (

Times are tough but TOGETHER, WE CAN!

Mainstage Incubator wants to help, we have a team dedicated just towards responding and helping people in need. Feel free to reach out to us on any of our socials or email.
