The new season of “ Die Höhle der Löwen “ starts with a ton of new ideas. Together with his co-founder Cem Dogan, influencer Philip Deml presented a new accessory for popular smartphones in “ Die Höhle der Löwen ” on August 31st. The invention of the two founders from the Frankfurt area is called “ Flapgrip “.
There are plenty of accessories for smartphones, but this startup wants to combine at least four functions in one feature: the smartphone handle should be a GPS mount, selfie stick, tripod and stand in one. You simply glue the handle to the back of your smartphone.
Successful deal: “flapgrip” impresses in “Die Höhle der Löwen”
“Flapgrip” is a nice example that sometimes it only takes a small idea to bring an innovative product onto the market. Investor Ralf Dümmel saw it that way and invested the required 125,000 euros for 15 percent of the company’s shares. So the desired deal came about:
Carsten Maschmeyer, said no, because:“The innovation lead is too small”. Although he has had good experiences with Frankfurters, he was one of the investors in the Lizzapizza, in which he and Frank Thelen invested 150,000 euros and three years later collected several million for it. And he also got involved in the Finanzguru financial app with one million euros, the largest single investment in the history of the show at the time. “I’m out,” he said.
Anyways, the two Frankfurters, are still at the very beginning with their start-up: At the time of the recording of “Die Höhle der Löwen” they had achieved around 10,000 euros in sales only.
To highlight, some different numbers,Philip Deml´s Instagram account that has more than 130,000 followers. ???
